Image critique: great tone and drama with light and contrast. Highlights are too blown, but you almost get away with it. Nicely composed with a good choice of foreground to add interest.

Image critique: while this is technically imperfect (blown highlights) it has a certain a appeal becasue of them. The exposure is really too long here resulting in the pools of white, so a Neutral Density filter would help in future. I'd like to have seen more water than sky and a bit more of bridge supports too.

Out-of-challenge appeal: not enough to pull me back frequently, and the flaws do make it hard going on the eye

Image critique: beautiful morning light is its main strength but the subject is lovely. This just lacks a bit of 'pop' for me. The central feature is awkward with its peak butting up to the ridge line, so I would have tried to avoid this by crouching very low. A lower POV may have added some extra dimension too rather than the more conventional eye-level.

Out-of-challenge appeal: yes, it's pretty but not magnetic enough to pull me back for long

Challenge link: medium - due to the fact that it is not the kind of feature that one refers to coloquially as a landmark, but more as an integral part of the landscape. I'm not marking it down though because it's a pedantic, picky little point!

Image critique: a wonderful subject of course - I love it here. Blue cast is quite overpowering and composition is a bit too central for my taste.

Out-of-challenge appeal: I love this place, so I'd probably come back to this if passing

Image critique: very impactful and dramatic in tonees. Good, long DOF. Composition is OK, but the central alignment bothers me a bit. i think this could have been improved with a lower POV looking upwards. This would give reverence to the subject and add drama.

Out-of-challenge appeal: not a great deal to bring me back because the subject doesn't hold me for long
