I don't see how the half dome looks so blue...I don't see this looking that much blue .. did you change hue on this pic ? or some problem with the white balance ? but well I could be wrong, but I have been to this place like 4-5 times so far and this looks unreal to me

the blue cast on the rock face adds to the feeling that its a tad bit chilly there. :-)

A very well taken, well composed shot. No wow for me, but a very good job. 7.

Has a bluish cast and looks like there may be some chromatic aberation around the trees on the left. Nice composition.

Technical: 9, I would like to see a sharper image. It looks like it was clear enough to be real sharp.

Blue cast and underexposed trees. Recommendation: apply a warming filter (or adjust color balance) and lighten up the shadows to really bring out the details in the trees.

Artistically excellently composed with the trees and Half Dome balancing each other harmoniously. Just a couple of technical details which overall distracts from the appeal of this photograph.

I think the photo is nice but not special. My wife however loved it so I'll bump it up a point. It just seems to me a little bleak because it's in the shade.

Challenge link: medium - due to the fact that it is not the kind of feature that one refers to coloquially as a landmark, but more as an integral part of the landscape. I'm not marking it down though because it's a pedantic, picky little point!

Image critique: a wonderful subject of course - I love it here. Blue cast is quite overpowering and composition is a bit too central for my taste.

Out-of-challenge appeal: I love this place, so I'd probably come back to this if passing

Absolutely beautiful. The fraing with the pines in the foreground add alot.

Good shot, this would look better if the rock formation looked sharper.

nice pic. but i don't think there as good as some that i saw in a thread not to long ago
the colour is not as vibrent as it could be and thus the sky and Half Dome tend to blend to gether a darker blue sky would suite this image well mabe a contrast adjust but definitly a colour adjust would help.-GL
