The Passion of the Christby GSRsedanComment: This is a beautiful image. Very aesthetic shot indeed - great exposure.
Personally, I don't realte the title that much (but maybe I'm missing something) since I don't match ice to passion particularly. However, I can't bear to vote it down for that, so good luck. |

Texas Chainsaw Massacreby real_ndnComment: Well, of the two shots of this bath, I prefer this one! It tells more of a story with what it doesn't show. Good focus and exposure - presented in a way that feels quite voyeuristic. My only comment is that the viewpoint (eye-level) is not very imaginitive. It could have been shot from any number of points that would have created more atmosphere. peeping from behind the curtain for instance, or from the edge of the bath with same human hair hanging over the edge?
And why the validation here too?? |

Psychoby BShawnComment: Can't think why anyone would question validity??
This is a bit literal for me. The blood looks good though, but that hand is too bleached by flash and makes me aware of the camera which 'kills' (excuse pun!) the mood. |

When the wind blows [1986]by jonpinkComment: What relevance is the satellite dish??
:D
Quite an artitistic shot - nice sense of space and insinuation of wind, even if there is none. |

The Wallby neehaiComment: An unusually effective use of negative - which I didn't immediately take in. Good textures and an aesthetic composition with a creative appraoch to the brief. The only flaw is the too-strong 'shadow' (highlight) which has blown under the leaves. |

"Casino"by sfarrell23Comment: This is all a bit too literal really - a pic of a casino, called 'Casino'! The challenge states "be creative" and I really feel that this is a snapshot with a title that fits the brief.
Critically, the subject isn't framed well and the exposure is poor, resulting in harsh, dense contrast. Sorry to be negative here but this is what voters are thinking and if you care about the challenges then you can sort it next time! : ) |
