Strong use of light, lovely DOF, excellent exposure and a dynamic shot. The image does look super-smooth (which has removed some natural charm of texture).

Border does nothing for me as it clashes with the more natural colours.

Superb exposure, great weather conditions and lovely composition. The feeling of depth is tangible with some lovely glistening reflections of the water.

However... this does not the meet the challenge even if I stretch my imagination to breaking point so I'm going to vote it [1] in absence of zero or minus figures. [1]

Seriously - this has been shoe-horned into the challenge. So it's rubbish.
Nothing good about it at all. It's not even worth the pixels that have been gathered to create the perception of contiunous tones. Zeeeeero. Nil. Good luck though - I think you're going to need it with a vaguely appropriate subject such as this...

I feel the trees should be meaningful in some way, but I can find no reason to keep them so intrusive in the scene. Good exposure. Border not helpful.

Yes, there is light here, and there's a 'light'house! It's a good subject but the landscape format does this no favours. I would have rotated and got closer, as the surrounding gorse is not condusive to the shot.

Image is a bit too smooth in places.
