Not sure how I feel about that - my gut says that's changing the image too much from reality - because in reality they are faded a bit relative to her hair, for example. If they are much blacker then I think we start hitting a cartoon-effect because everything is at the same saturation. Also, the focus should be on her face, the tatt's are secondary.
