Duck a l'Carby NuzzerComment: Well, I voted an 8 on this shot because I thought it was very clever, lighting is good, DOF is brilliant, a lot of work went into this. Then I showed my kids. They told me to vote 10 on it. So I gave it a 9. They where fascinated about it. James went Ewwww tomato's I hate tomatoes', Rose went "Ewww guts how cool is that" and Charlie said " COWWWWWWWWWWWWWSSSS'
They have told me I must have this as my wallpaper so they can see it again and again.
So you scored in the back of the net with this one with them and me, well done!

Destination Unknownby BarbBComment: I gave this a 3, here are my reasons why. I thin this is a great shot, I think it really makes a statement, I am not sure if this is in Australia or just a river bed, but to me, it shows loss. Unfortunelty, the challenge was very specific in what needed to be in the shots. I can only figure out one light source, I can not find the string or the vegetable, I can see sunglasses, coke cans and what almost looks like a rotisserie chicken in the background.
I do like this shot though, it is a statement. |

The Masque of the Red Pepperby GeneralEComment: I gave this a 4, here are the reasons I did that. Your picture is very grainy, you did capture the fairy lights very well they are good, I am guessing a high ISO or long exposure, those are the main reasons for the yellow tint and grain n You also have red hot spots in some areas that could have been cloned otu to make a better picture. It is difficult to really see that your veggie is a red pepper, it is a cool idea though, but for sure you need more light on your subject. At the bottom where you duck is sitting on the black cloth(?) it is almost too sharp of a line, as though it cut copied and pasted there, a little smoother and again lighting would have helped this. |

afternoon bliss by LevTComment: There is never enough candy when you produce a shot like this. That is one serious low tide! |
