house flyby martinkulikComment: Great detail of a dead house fly... and it's a wonderful place to practice macro studies... but... it's so obviously dead that... I'd have waited to find a live one, after practicing on this one... and then I'd have entered that shot.
Lovely colors... And good focus. |

Green Eyed Ladyby WonderDudeComment: I love the composition.
BUT... in my opinion, there needs to be something very sharply in focus in an image like this.
That eye needs to COMMAND my attention... not get it when my eye finally gets there.
But... that's just an opinion. All voters have an equal one. |

inferred hopeby tateComment: Hmmmm... This is usually not anything that would appeal to me.
But, you've done it.
You've made me stop longer... look longer... and made me consider... more.
I like this.
Back to vote later. |

Winged bulletsby lei_73Comment: Wow! It looks like they're 3D on my monitor.
There's not much detail in them... but they are IN MY FACE so really COOLly! |

this is whenby jmritzComment: This is when... what?
I want to be drawn in... I want to feel the story in an image.
I might be more drawn into the story if... the characters were more in focus.
As it is here, I am focusing on the trees... since the "players" are so minimal in the image.
I want... more. |

In The Woodby rooumComment: I don't like images like this. I want images to be clear and well shot.
I certainly don't want the subject to be centered in an image that I don't normally like.
But... there's something about her.
You've captured her... being.
And I am drawn in.
I love it.
Do I want her to be more to the left or the right?
With all of my being I want that.
:)
But, I love her despite the composition.
You've made me love her. |

Into The Nightby SEGComment: Oh. I really don't like these taillights photos.
But... THERE! You've given me ROAD in the middle of taillights blur!
And then... you've given me more to follow after THAT!
THIS is why I no longer enter Free Studies.
Ha!
You've done it.
You've amazed me with a taillights image.
I thought it could no longer be done. |
