 Focal Length: 100mm equivalent

I used the shorted macro tube extension that I have and left my focus at it's furthest range and then moved in on my subject to lock the focus on her eye.

PP: PSE 13 and Nik used to recolor the brown iris and emphasize the white of her eyeball. I used a graduated filter to calm the brightness of her cheek Finally some cropping to place the pupil smack dab in the center of the crossing rule of thirds bars.

Something like this needs to be tack sharp on the eye to work. This isn't, and the artifact in the reflection just takes away some more. Great eye color, but not a great photo.

I love the composition.

BUT... in my opinion, there needs to be something very sharply in focus in an image like this.

That eye needs to COMMAND my attention... not get it when my eye finally gets there.

But... that's just an opinion. All voters have an equal one.
