Great moment, good face. Reflection of flash on left immediately lets it down though, as well as bad light and shadows caused by onboard flash.

Background doesn't help to create a mood. Composition doesn't feel thought out enough for this to not feel like a snapshot.

Face is way too dark, and is what should have been metered for. Not enough sense of speed... perhaps a much slower shutter speed and some panning? Light is too harsh, background too cluttered.

Nothing, particularly the eye is sharp enough. Composition feels unbalanced. Skin tone a little red.

Lovely shot, don't think your title works too well though. Perhaps a little underexposed, I'd have metered off the boy rather than the background. Good shutter speed.

Wow! It bothers me though that the horizon bisects the figure... could you have got lower down? Don't like the centered horizon. Lovely textures in sea.
