Sonataby ZoomdakComment: LOL, I really did laugh out loud as I saw this, it's so cheesy. Despite the slightly too magenta/blue white balance I really like this shot, but it's a shame nothing is quite sharp enough. Great idea. |

Cavalleria Rusticanaby unicumComment: Wow, I'd love to photograph an opera. Shame the performer in the background is so tight against the performer in the foreground, I'd have stepped to the left to seperate them. Not a fan of distracting borders. Lovely catchlights. |

With the Harp and the Voice of a Psalmby vtruanComment: Onboard flash has not worked well here (in fact, doesn't really work well anywhere). Quality of the light is too harsh, and casts unattractive shadows. I'm not at all sure about her expression. Background looks like not much thought went into it. |

The Blind Musicmanby davidus428Comment: I like the musician in the foreground, but I'd have used curves to avoid his panda eyes. The chap in the background looks like he has a spike growing out of his head. Dof works well here. |

Satyriconby DonAmonComment: Looks like quite a character. Good exposure, colour balance is good, a competent shot. Does strike me as a little unimaginative though, most decent photographers would have got a similar shot from the pit here. Did you take a stepladder? If not, this could have helped you get his feet and avoid including the edge of the stage. |

Birth of the Coolby mariomelComment: Great composition, love the piano in the background. Grain works well. Dof is spot on, just covering the text. Camera angle works well. White balance is a little on the yellow side for my taste. One of my favourites so far. |

Not Just Noiseby anthonyczajaComment: Clever title. Not a fan of the green tones or quality of grain here though. Background is too cluttered and takes away from the composition. Nice motion blur, but I would like to have seen more sharpness somewhere in the pic. |

From the Heartby MontereykiddoComment: I like the backlighting, which highlights the sweat nicely. Shame the face isn't sharper, it's just a little OOF. |

In The Streetby ArcanistComment: Interesting composition, it took me a while to notice the audience member in the corner. I'd have tried to make more of the audience, as it's not everyday that I see performers in the street. The performer seems a bit introverted here, I wonder if there were many moments where he connected with his audience more. |
