Happy Halloween!by NeuferlandComment: Interesting photo, but it was a really bad move to add text which has chopped two people's heads off. It's also too squashed up against the top of the frame. I also think the fact that two people on the left have had bits chopped off them detracts from the image. Without these problems, this picture would have been pretty strong. 5 |

remnantby mcmurmaComment: I had this shot sitting on 9 for a few days, but I had to bump it up to 10 after taking another look. One of the best and most imaginative autumn pics I've seen. Great minimalist feel. Lovely use of light and shadows. Perfect dof. I love the composition. The saturation is spot-on. Only the title doesn't do the photo justice. 10 |

Urban Grace by brianlrComment: Fantastic shot, I'll be amazed if this doesn't get a blue ribbon. The composition doesn't quite work for me, but I think this is a personal issue and this is still my favourite shot this challenge. It's the moon that really makes this shot special. Wonderful timing to capture this shot under just the right light conditions. I love the (NeatImaged?) graduated blues and reds in the sky. Well done for taking a well known landmark and making something a little different with it. 10 |

I never thought grace can be so hard....by weird_boy15Comment: Well taken photo, good technique. Now, I'm as much of a cat lover as the next person, but this is just so unbelievably kitsh it's not true. Great textures, the composition doesn't quite work for me. I think it looks like the photographer centred the whole cat in the shot, implying that the centre of focus is in the middle of the frame, whereas it's really the head. I think you have a good career ahead of you making greetings cards for old grandmothers! ;-) 7 |

Crazy Creekby seancComment: Such a shame you didn't make your image larger. A border would have really helped IMO as well. I like the selective desaturation and the unusual composition. 6 |

Touched by Graceby bruskiComment: Beautiful and appropriate picture, somewhat spoiled by an obtrusive and over-the-top unnecessary border. 6 |

Natural Graceby marusnikComment: Beautifully captured rose, nice water droplets, good exposure. The saturation is very nice. The crop is a bit odd though, a bit of one leaf is chopped off and I can't understand your intention behind the composition of negative space in the frame. 6 |
