I feel a bit dizzy looking at this, it definitely needs straightening. The border makes this worse. Interesting sky, it's good that the buildings are lit by the sun. Not sure about the foreground wake.

This photo makes me sad... desaturating the concrete surroundings has emphasised how artificial his surroundings are.

I didn't know this was still allowed in 'civilised' societies.

It'll be interesting to see how you did this and to see if it passes the rules test. Giving it a 10 but I think major elements are artwork.

Why on earth would I have done that?

Hey, just noticed your comment!
What I meant was that by looking at the photo, I use my imagination to transport me there and to see what else lies outside the window. I can feel the heat, feel the sand under my toes, feel the breeze, etc. Imagining myself there, I now start to look for somewhere better to take photos from, as I don't think that the composition here does it justice. What is the point of focus? Where does the eye settle? Is there a flow to the photo? Why was it taken? What is it communicating? The beach looks cluttered. The thing is, that this composition is really about the windows, the sea and the parasailers. Everything else seems random. That's why I think it's not strong enough.

Well, each to their own. I personally think that the horizontal line in the composition looks accidental rather than planned.

Silhouettes not clear enough. The horizontal line near the centre cuts through boys' heads and makes photo less effective.

Lovely textures and shapes, but not enough here to keep me interested.
