Taken at the Henderson State Park in Destin, Florida. I sat in their large outdoor pavilion waiting for one parasailer to go by, and then saw two. I waited till they were between the sills of the windows and took a few shots. The views were paradise! I am glad to have shared at least one lil piece of paradise with you.

What is the point of focus? Where does the eye settle? Is there a flow to the photo? Why was it taken? What is it communicating? The beach looks cluttered. The thing is, that this composition is really about the windows, the sea and the parasailers. Everything else seems random. That's why I think it's not strong enough.

Oh, well, now I understand. LOL...Ok, well, I obviously needed a window. This part of the gulf is so loaded with hotels, it is hard to find an actual window to the sea unless you want to pay $300 for the night. So I went into an actual hotel and actually asked if I could use their windows, but they said I couldn't from an occupied room (obviously), so they did let me use their lobby. Unfortunately, their pool was causing too much humidity on the windows. The shot wasn't a go. I then went to the parasailing place itself, but they don't actually launch from there, and I really wanted those parasailers. I knew they would come right up to a hotel window, so I was bumming about that too. I ended up in a pavilion on state park grounds, and that is why this shot is so awkward in the regards of what you mention. Gigantic windows, but it made the parasailers seem distant and not the main focus becuase where I was at is where they turn and go back. So they were much further out. Oh well, I couldn't let the hour's drive be waisted, so I was happy with this, and especially getting two parasailers in the shot. Thanks for your comment though. It makes sense now :)

BobsterLobster, I didn't mark your comment as helpful because I didn't understand it. You said you loved the colors and wanted to be there but the composition does nothing for you. To me that is an oxymoron.

To sjturner, yours wasn't marked helpful because you simply said "I don't see it". I can't understand what it is you didn't see that all the others did?
