Swept Awayby KylieComment: Wonderful shot, great composition and good colours. There's an undefinable something about the mood of this shot I really like. |

mother natureby SeanachaiComment: An interesting shot, I presume your PP has made your model look like a statue. I like the faint leaf outlines on the upper torso. Shame about the bad halo running around your model. Imaginative shot. |

Odalisqueby JesuispeureComment: Very nice shot, with a classic art feel to it. Only the edge of the bed dectracts badly from this shot. Her expression makes this shot work so well. Nice soft-focus effect. |

The Two Towersby BassieComment: Interesting shot, I'm not sure why a naked guy is doing a handstand near a tower, but the black and white textures are great. The clouds work particularly well. A fun, quirky shot that works nicely. |

The beauty of de-feetby TikicharmComment: Not sure quite what your punny title means... why a play on words of defeat? Where is defeat? Without your title, I would not have been aware that this photo depicts feet, so this drawing could have been on any body part, and I think that makes this too abstract for me for a nude challenge. For me, the point of a nude study is to explore the nude form, and I'm not sure this photo does that. The skin used here is very much just a background for the Japanese looking artwork which doesn't captivate me I'm afraid. The composition doesn't really draw me in, and seems a bit haphazard. |

Self-Censoredby annasenseComment: Interesting shot, background is a little too distracting for me. The skin tone could have done with some NeatImage to smooth out the textures a little, the current lighting is not very flattering and highlights blotchy areas and veins. Nice composition, I particularly like the inclusion of the model's mouth. |

eternal desireby theodor38Comment: Wow... absolutely stunning shot. Wonderful on many levels. Great light, pose, idea, models, etc. Also emotionally compelling on many levels, a great study in sexuality. What this captures for me is the compelling need for each side of male and female to merge into the other, like a Yin/Yang. This photo is very absorbing, and is to me what art nudes should be all about. Thanks! |

Love Immaculateby RoosterComment: A very bold shot, nicely executed. Very effective lighting and background. The man's pose is very brave, exhibiting a vulnerability that I imagine most men would be uncomfortable with displaying in public. In this pose, the woman has taken on a mothering dynamic, and I think this shot is a very interesting exporation of the woman as sexual care-giver which is not explored very often in photography. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this! Either way, great shot. |

Tigerby kirtiebuComment: Interesting backlighting, but doesn't really explore the spirit of nudity for me in this challenge. Traditionally, nudes are studies in musculature and light and shadow... perhaps if you had used some poses that tightened the back muscles and gone in tighter for more of an abstract with the tiger and the back muscles this would have been a more effective nude study in my eyes. The dof is a bit too shallow here, it would have been better for everything to be in focus. Not sure about the white balance... there is too much of an orange tint to the skin tone. |

Scarred Beautyby lagavulinComment: Wonderful shot, well posed. The light playing down the left side of the body and face is what makes this shot really great. Shame about the distracting corner in the background. It took me ages to notice the scar, so maybe it would have been better not drawing people's attention to it in your title! |
