Warmthby joannsComment: Oh yes, very nice! Superb lighting, well posed, good composition, great colours and skin tone, effective background, good model... this portrait has quality written all over it. I like the fact that her pose adds the top-left to bottom-right diagonal. Great expression, the catchlights work well. The edge of her right arm doesn't quite work for me... it's either haloed from oversharpening, or you've tried to remove it, but this is nitpicking. 10 |

Peace Pleaseby SonifoComment: This is without a shadow of a doubt my favourite photo this challenge. Everything is just perfect. The level of detail is breathtaking. I love it's emotiveness, and your model is brilliant. I love the tones here. The composition is perfect. Great idea. Works on so many levels. A+++++ (10) |

Sky light!by kosmikkreeperComment: Lovely, very bold composition. Lots of impact. Great colour and PS work. An inspired location to patiently wait for a strike from, great dedication! One of the most original shots I've seen here for quite some time. Thankyou! 10 |

Solitudeby ZoomdakComment: This is just beautiful, one of my favourites this challenge. The central horizon works well here. The rocks are what makes this shot work so well. The textures in the sand are breathtaking. I love the reflection of the moon in the water, but the moon itself doesn't quite work for me. Gorgeous colours. 10 |

Split Bout....the inner struggleby graphicfunkComment: Woa, I'm floored!! Thanks for your PM, an amazing result you've got here. This really raises the bar for us all. This has to be one of the most technically accomplished shots on DPC. 10 |

A Proud Birdby mariomelComment: Unbelievably sharp, and a great subject. You've got one great lens there. The green background is very effective. Perfect exposure... not easy given the range of tones. Not quite sure about your crop though... I'd have thought a little more about rule of thirds here. Still, 10. |
