The Constant Shaperby ikopanasComment: I would have liked to see the man a little more in focus. Its a great environmental portrait, but I think that the emphasis needs to be on the man, and it also seems like there is a little blur motion in his hand.
If you had a speed light (that you can detach) you could have lit the man from the side (behind the figure he is working on) for a more dramatic effect.
I think the composition is good because the shape of the figure leads right to the man so it draws your eye in.

Together Forever by nutzitoComment: this is a mind blowing photo! I didnt have a chance to vote in this challenge, but when I saw this on the homepage I was just stunned! This is fantastic. The story you tell with this photo is great. I didnt even notice the roof intersecting with her hat until you mentioned it. I like the duotone, takes us to another time. Great job! |
