Spring's Giftby KaupsComment: The composition doesn't flow well for me. Three blooms is good but they are spaced too far apart leaving an uninteresting section in the middle. Nicely captured, though. :) |

Newly Hatched Mantisby fencekickerComment: Interesting capture but I think it may have been better to focus on one or maybe three at most. The composition is pretty busy. I, personally, never like to see half(or parts) of anything left in an advanced editing challenge.
Advanced gives you the opportunity to polish or finish off your capture to perfection and the dpc voters demand it. |

NEW(s) every dayby redpandaComment: Good choice with selective desate. It keeps the attention on your subject/s.
Great focus. |

Newest member of the familyby twm122Comment: Beautiful! Congratulations! This would make a great square crop, just under the hands and a little past the elbows on each side. Nice background and the skin tones are wonderful. |

Blooming Roseby MushComment: I love the delicate pink of the rose and it's well captured.
IMO, the photo would be improved by a tighter crop around just the rose. The black spots are not very attractive and the rocks are not helping the composition. They just pull your eye away from the beautiful subject. |

Gentleby macrothingComment: Congratulations on your personal best and top 20 with this great macro.
What a fascinating cactus. gf's "well-captured weapon" says it best. :) |
