Has some elements of low key, though it appears to be a broad daylight shot that was darkened a bit. However, I'm not totally sure of what low key is anymore. I thought I had it defined before this challenge.

Not sure if this is low key or just darkened. I feel the highlights could use a little more contrast against the dark background.

Might have had more impact on me if the angle was slightly different so that the light behind the curtain was behind the person's head. As it is, it draws my eye to their kneecap as the focal point of the scene.

I think the composition does not lead the eye through the frame very well. The homes at the bottom edge of the frame are widely separated from the mountains. None of the mountains themselves stand out as the focal point either. Perhaps overhead midday sun was a secondary issue. Your post processing of this was good, however. You got some nice colors and maximum possible detail out of this. I gave this a 6, for what you did accomplish with it.

I meant to leave a comment on this during the challenge, but was distracted and forgot. Looks like there is some story here. Is this a truck she is getting out of? Suggests to me she was hitchhiking across the country and has just arrived at her home for the evening,

Didn't even realize you were on DPC until I was reviewing the freestudy results and saw a screenname I knew from the Metro group. Nice going on this one. As you've found, freestudies are tough.
