Farmers Sunsetby DCNUTTERComment: Great colors and nice texture in the clouds. Not making any huge impression on me however. (I wonder sometimes if DPC is actually dulling my visual senses?) |

Angry Watersby DrakeComment: You'd really be upset if I slammed this pic with a 1 or a 2, wouldn't you? Nah, I won't do that. I've seen this lighthouse in many challenges and this is one of the better shots out of a lot of really good ones.
Added: I've seen a really bad one too. They gave us a calendar at work last year and it had a shot of this lighthouse that reinvents the term "oversharpened". Hope they didn't pay much for that shot. |

Cold afternoonby GemGemComment: Lots of visible artifacts, watch the amount of JPEG compression you use. Compression kills detail and at 72k in size, this image has LOTS of compression working against it. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. |

Tormentby bvyComment: Attack of the zombie swiss army knife!!! One of my favorite movies, right after "Attack of the killer tomatoes".
Extra pointage for giving me a nice opportunity to leave one of my idiotic comments. |

kind careby yiannis723Comment: The horse looks somewhat distorted to me. Otherwise, I think this would have been pretty good. |

Agreed, but that's what you get with a spur of the moment candid. Too bad this was a few weeks too early for the candid challenge. It would certainly do way better than my actual entry. |

Deep bluesby mitalapoComment: The horizon is seriously tilted. (As if I'm the first to leave that comment!) That would have been an easy fix |

Nativity at Night by malskiComment: Nothing appears to be in focus... If that was an intentional creative effort, I'm afraid it's not working with me. |

St. Louis Cathedralby bobccComment: The treatment is making this look more like a computer generated image than a photograph. It's not to my own preference, I'm afraid, but still a good effort at something different. |
