There's nothing about this image that suggests to me it was taken from a low perspective, but there's no reason it cannot have been. It's just one of those shots that I need to give the benefit of the doubt to as far as fitting the topic.

My eye is actually led away from the subject, which is the root. Either that or the main subject of the tree is OOF. Somehow, I find that actually works well for this scene. Giving this one a high vote.

I'm afraid this comes off to me as an average snapshot. It's a good subject and I think some common adjustments such as levels, color balance, contrast and sharpening could bump it up a notch. A stronger perspective view might also suit it to this challenge topic a little more.

There's some visible artifacting around the boom, but I'm probably the only one anal enough to have issue with it. Otherwise an interesting shot of this crane. Just enough tonemapping to give it some nice oomph.
