My first thought upon this coming up was that it had some heavily visible motion blur,then I noticed the fox that was being panned on. I like tha capture of the fox, but I'm not sure if it stand out enough to overcome the rest of the frame. But it is what it is. You captured the scene and you can't exactly get these animals (gnu?) to pose on request. I'll be curious to see what the other comments are on this.

This made me stop and look longer before pressing on. Not sure why, but my eye found it intriguing. Making me slow down and look is always worth extra pointage.

I gave it a 6. It is good, but didn't wow me somehow. There seems to be a bit of a color cast to it and perhaps a tad oversharp in some places. It's a good photo and the sort that will have your friends and family wowing about what a great photographer you are. The DPC collective has been desensitized by so many "wow" entries of wideangle seascapes with brilliant colors that this probably got compared to the rest of the genre, even if unconsciously.
