Guava Flowerby jnenvirComment: I agree with the commenters about the proper score being in the mid six range or higher. Visually intersting to have a flower reduced to color gestures that convey the essence of the subject without distractions. Message edited by author 2012-04-08 08:43:47. |

Nascentby violinist123Comment: Unique pose, dramatic lighting, would be at home on a gallery or museum wall. Well done. |

Golf Swing by Sydney3Comment: Good catch of the golf club at the peak of action, although hard to be visually convincing that this was during an active swing rather than static pose. If this included a jump off the ground, it is even better, but the visual impression is of standing on the grass. If an actual leap, would need to shoot from low down to better show the gap between shoes and ground. |

Athelete Alert!by AdamParsonsComment: Nice to see the feet and get a sense of being in the air. A bit of post processing to make the building level, sharpen slightly, boost contrast, and re-size to the allowed 800 pix width could help a lot. |

leaping lambertby mikaylaleaComment: The gesture suggests being in the air. Having the image include the feet would make it visually more convincing. Your subject has a good expression that conveys enthusasim. Making the picture in a setting without background clutter would help the viewer appreciate it more. |

The Robotby S-Brooks95Comment: Subject appears to be standing on the floor rather than being in mid-air, so seems to miss being the type of image requested for this topic. |

Puppieby JedaBComment: Dog seems to be preparing to land. Catching while going up or at peak of leap would work better. Consider repeating to be able to see the dog's face. If doing again, consider selecting a setting with less clutter -- while you look at the subject, the camera looks at everything that is present. |

untitledby jmritzComment: One of the best in this challenge to my eye. Obvious letter wihtout just documenting an existing alphabetical symbol, colors work well together, color noise adds a lot of interest, and image provokes thinking about context. 10 |
