I like the setup with the two tiers of dominoes on the checkerboard, but some of the shadows are a little to harsh for me. Also, it is a little awkward since it looks like it is in a corner and the checkerboard is cut off on the left, but continues on the right. If you could've rotated the picture so that the "corner" was in the center, it may have framed a little better.

The red tint gives the impression of being on a boat/sub when all of the red warning lights are going off. If that was intentional -- good job, if not, well . ..

Cutting off the top of her head lends an air of mystery to this shot. A different color for the background, I think, would've been more characteristic. (Say yellow or orange, maybe read instead of a cool blue?)

Good idea and subject matter. If the framing could have been done a little differently (with the two pillars setting the left and right frame), I think it might have been more effective.

Yea!! More stopped water shots! Just kidding. It's a little bright on the right side -- maybe use some fill light on the left. What would have been truly effective (but I don't know if it would be possible or not) is if the reflection in the glass had been very obvious.

I am assuming the 09 is 60? I almost missed it because the guardrail and road lead the eyes to the stop sign. Then, they kinda stop on the middle of the page. It looks like a busy road, but if it had been possible to frame it differently, so that the 09 sign was the point of focus, it would have made more impact.
