Mental Preparationby daverx7Comment: Since the rider and the horse are both looking to the right, it might have been good to have them further left in the frame. That would have also prevented the background horse from being cropped in half. |

Dragon Boat Raceby BAMartinComment: I love the colors in this picture, especially the blue umbrellas against the gray building. If there had been some way to not have the police boat and other boat in there, that would've been nice, but that is obviously not in your control |

"He's Gonna Miss It!" The fish guys at Pike Place Market. Seattle, WAby Gene L.Comment: I saw a documentary about this place one time -- these guys are hilarious. Cropping the bottom of the picture to eliminate the signs might have made it less "cluttered." At first I didn't like the motion blur, but the more I look at it, the more I think it needs to be there to convey what was probably happening. |

First Catchby SwashbucklerComment: I assume by the title that the point of the picture is the fish. If that is so, a different angle that would draw more attention to the fish would be helpful. As it is, my eyes are drawn up and over with the little girl's pole, completely away from the fish. |

Yosemite Diehardsby debcardComment: I love the way the umbrella jumps out of the picture. hope you got some nice shots of the landscape as well. |

Sharpshooterby bobgaitherComment: The smokiness/haziness gives the picture a dream-like/surreal feeling to it. (I'm sure the actual soldiers thought it was surreal). My only suggestion would be to frame it so the main subject is further right. This gives him further to "look," and it might prevent that one guy from having his arm cut off. |

Give me the Keys!by BNCComment: Neat idea, but the overlap of the shadowed face and the actual face in the car make it difficult to discern what is happening. The kid with the keys looks like quite a character! |

Catch n' Releaseby justineComment: The focus and lighting on this picture is great! What would have made it better for me, and I understand that you may have had not control over this, is to have the man facing the other way. The way he is going looks like he is walking out of the picture, and has no where to go. |

Audience Participationby mtngoatComment: The "intent" of this picture is awesome. Great capture of action. The fuzzy feeling, though, leaves a little to be desired. Faster shutter, if possible? Hope he made it. |
