Flatironby pauldComment: I like the way the buildings on the left and right form a "frame" and I like the way the middle building has upward motion about it. I feel like it should have been taken from just a hair or two to the left, but I imagine that would have put you in the middle of a road (not a good thing). |

Foliage by jmsetzlerComment: Normally, leaves and water don't inspire me, but this picture is awesom. Great capture of the texture of the leaves, and the water droplets give it depth. Very nice! |

The one that got away...by albright1Comment: If nothing else, you get the funniest picture this week! This is hilarious and a perfect example of how breaking the "rules" of photography can be effective. Maybe if you could have had a slower shutter speed and moved the camera just a touch, you could have gotten some motion trails as well. :-) Then people could have talked about your focus AND your cropping. |

The Grey Catby Pete02tComment: That's a very pretty cat, but I think the picture needs a little more contrast to it. Maybe if the grass had been cropped out, and just the wood was the background, or if there had been something white or black nearby. |

Life Beginsby TiggarrooComment: It's almost too hard to see teh catepillars with all of the limbs. I'm not sure how you could correct that, but they kinda blend in with the branches. |

Reflections on Brush Creekby AndyLeeG4Comment: I really like the pattern of the shadows on the top, and the way this picture is framed is nice also. The only thing that would improve it is the way the light shines in on teh right, but I fully recognize that that is out of your control, and would probably change the picture dramatically. |

Still waiting to be used...by ragde_77Comment: This is actually a very good picture, I think. The balance and composition is very effective, though it may be a little flat. If you had a way to make the subtle shadow a little stronger, it may give it some depth. Not sure. Next time turn the date off, or make the picture big enough so that it can be cropped out. :-) |

Life at the Beachby langdonComment: My only suggestion is probably impossible, but . . . If the liner could have been just a bit more to the right, it would have felt more balanced. the swimmer almost balances it, but he is a lot smaller than the ship. I really like the way you have gotten three different "uses" of the ocean captured. |
