Nice colors. I don't know if it was intentional, but the gap in the trees really accents the mountains and seems to push the focus that way. Ordinarily, power lines drive me sideways up a wall (no pun, of course), but these add to the "realness" of the picture. It almost looks oversharpened to me, and if you could have done something about that blasted mirror, it would have been nicer.

Good effect. It looks like, to me, that you've over-sharpened (?) because it is kinda blurry around the edges (like at the top of the trees).

Nice subtle use of humor. I think having the rider fill up more of the frame would have made it more interesting, although the blue bug gives it a nice color.

Did you experiment with other angles, or placing the subject in other parts of the picture? That would have also been interesting, I think, though potentially dangerous if cars were coming. :-)

Maybe frame it so that the subject is down and to the left slightly, then the shadow won't run out of the picture quite so much.

The viewer is almost too far away to really catch the action in this shot. I fully understand that that probably couldn't be avoided without gettign run over, but if you could have had a close up, this would have been a kickin' idea!

Disappearing Cars

This is a really cool shot. I looked at it for awhile trying to decide what to do to improve it. The two biggest lights really jump out, becoming the focal points of the picture, I think. The curve is effective and emphasizing "motion" in the picture, but there is so much here, it is difficult to isolate any one thing as the main point of the picture (besides those lights). Not much by way of suggestions, though, because cropping it causes you to lose road, etc. Overall, I think it is a fairly effective shot.
