At first, i though the brown (floor?) at the top was distracting, but as i take a second glance, i think it helps compliment the angle of teh pencil, etc. Good focus and lighting. karmat

I like the colors in this, but the olives look flat or dull to me compared to the liquid. (Yes, I know, olives aren't exactly the brightest food around, but . . .) Would it have been possible to make them a littler greener? karmat

This picture has a bleak feel to it (assume it is purposeful) and I like teh detail shown on the pencil and rings. Maybe a touch blown out on the left, but I'm not sure if that is detracting or not. karmat

If I were sjgleah (great guy) i would tell you that you probably need a semi-colon instead of a comma, and you shouldn't use a colon after a verb, but i'm NOT sjgleah, so i will tell you, i like the composition and simplicity of this shot. The pencil is a little soft to me, but not enough to be too detracting. I also like the angle of the pencil and how it points to the text. karmat
