I think you definitely meet the challenge on this, so that said, on to the picture.

The colors in this are outstanding. They are brilliant, yet not oversaturated, and the green vs. red vs. blue sets up some nice contrast. The focus is okay, though it does not seem to be completely uniform throughout the picture. The strawberries seem for the most part very crisp and clear, but around the edges, and the berry in the middle are a little soft.

The composition is a little weak in my opinion. Though it has a random look, which I think is good, it seems a bit jumbled. The eye has no one place to rest, but rather goes from spot to spot. Maybe this would be a case where less was more. Perhaps one blackberry in a pile of strawberries would add some interest. Or vice versa. A bowl of blue berries, with one big ole' strawberry in the middle.

It's probably my own ignorance, or something, but this shot really doesn't appeal to me. Though I like the bright colors, it almost looks like it has used extreme post-processing to cover up a basic flaw in the photograph.

I like the repeating pattern of the waves, but I think I would like it better if it was cropped/framed/composed to have more of a diagonal feeling to it rather than a vertical one.
