 This is an antique school bell I have had for years. I shot this in front of an actual old one room schoolhouse.

The one I submitted in the "Stock Photography" challenge. It turned out almost exactly as I pictured it in my minds eye. Love it when that happens!

I was going back through my votes, and I was compelled to come back to this one. I really love the simplicity of the framing, with the rough wood as the base and the white school-ish building as the background. This is really elegant.

My wife thinks this is the best photo of the challenge! I like it because of the lighting. You've got the bell exposed wonderfully, and the background lighting is awesome! The contrast between shadow and light is amazing!

I had the idea for a bell as well but couldnt nail the shot that i wanted. You did a great job. Good composition and i like the focus. i wish the lighting was somhow different but im not sure exactly how-maybe lighting the handle of the bell a little more?? great job-8-Kevin
