Aged Deminby Everyday ReneeComment: Very simple, but effective. Good work. I really like the contrast between the blue and yellow. |

Answers on a postcardby tomjComment: I applaud you for thinking outside of the box, on this, but I think bw would have helped to emphasize the texture more. |

Velvet Tideby ccraftComment: That is gorgeous. I like the contrast between the smoothness of the water, and the "bumpiness" of the rocks. |

Cactus Thornby arbil14Comment: Great idea, but the soft focus on the bottom part really hurts, I think. I would try to get closer to one section and really show the prickly parts up close. Also, I think a background with a richer or deeper color would be more effective. |

Colorsby manuComment: Cool colors. I think it needs a bit more blue, because it is such a rich shade, and would break up the warmer colors at the top. |

AAHH..Nutsby tfarrell23Comment: The color is a bit yellowish to me, but otherwise, a good shot showing some nice texture. |

Winter Freezeby alternaruleComment: I like the different "bands" of color, but the shades of the greenish color and pinkish color are both "muted," so it is difficult to establish where the interest point is. |

End of winter on a roof...by RebTheRebelComment: I like the use of the shallow dof, but i think if the proportions were reversed so that more was in focus, instead of a huge section of the bottom of the picture being out of focus, it would be a bit more effective. |

The texture of a handworked timberby jgawrychComment: Classic texture. The bw and white also works well, I think. I'm not finding much of a focal point, though. Perhaps, if there was a rusty nail or something in the picture to give the eyes somewhere to go, besides out the top of the frame, it would be more effective. |
