Gazingby helloiloveyouuComment: I like the play between light and dark, and the contrast between the elements of the shot. It does seem a bit overexposued, and could use a touch more focus on the girl. |

Tree-framed Roadby Hendry JacobyComment: I like how the road leads up and into the frame. Also, the trees do give a nice "frame" for the shot. However, there are some things that could make this a much stronger photo, I think. Move more to the center of the road (if there is little or not traffic, obviously). I think that will make it feel more balanced and not so chopped off on the left. Also, it seems to have a bluish cast to me. Maybe "warm up" the white balance just a hair. Finally, take advantage of the size. Your shot is about 1/2 or a 1/3 what it could be. Ask in the forums, or look at the tutorials if you don't know how to resize for dpc. |

Homemade paintingby Rino63Comment: I like that the tree is out of focus. That makes it look like a painting, of sorts, and makes the frame look more focus. I also like the way the frame is tilted. I think a tighter crop would make it a stronger photo, though. Lighting also seems a bit harsh. A fast shutter speed, if possible, might help. |

Throwin dirtby gminkComment: At first glance, I didn't particularly like this, but upon revisiting it, I can see the framing, and it is a interesting shot. Kind of a "two powers colliding" kinda thing. |

Moonlightby rema15Comment: Cute mouse. I think having the mouse further away from your background would help give the shot a bit more feeling of depth. Also, if whatever you used to make the circle was darker, that could also help add to the contrast. |

Painful keyhole by thomasjessenComment: A sharper focus would have made this a bit more effective, I think. Technicals aside, I find myself wanting to poke a pencil through the keyhole, which is why I assume you call it painful. |

Voyeurismby winkehComment: A tough kind of shot to get, but a neat idea. If the subject was a bit more in focus, I think it would be even more effective. |

Katieby bottlenoseComment: A nice shot of the cat, but a bit small. If you are new to dpc, there is a tutorial on resizing images for dpc under the Help menu. If you are not new to dpc, there is a tutorial on resizing images for dpc under the Help menu. :) Seriously, I think if I could just see more of the shot, I would like it better. |

Showroomby FelixrComment: I like the simplicity in color in this shot, but otherwise, I find myself looking at it wondering what I am missing. |

"Mom, can I play in your light tent?"by KelliComment: Hubby gave me one a tent just like this for Christmas. The *first* thing my kids (almost 6 and almost 3) wanted to know was if it was a tent to play in.
I guess even Superman needs a nap! |
