This works ok. The image is a little on the small side and you lose impact when compared to others in the challenge. Did you look at this in B&W? I think it would make a stronger presentation. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

It's an OK image, but I find it lacks atmosphere

Looks like a lovely road with the old trees hanging overhead. Besides feeling a tad tilted to the right, the shot seems to be a bit blue. Perhaps a quick auto-levels adjustment would bring out some of the natural greens/browns of the trees?

This seems a bit cockeyed and lacking contrast. Maybe straighting the shot or adding more of a slant would help the composition.

I like how the road leads up and into the frame. Also, the trees do give a nice "frame" for the shot. However, there are some things that could make this a much stronger photo, I think. Move more to the center of the road (if there is little or not traffic, obviously). I think that will make it feel more balanced and not so chopped off on the left. Also, it seems to have a bluish cast to me. Maybe "warm up" the white balance just a hair. Finally, take advantage of the size. Your shot is about 1/2 or a 1/3 what it could be. Ask in the forums, or look at the tutorials if you don't know how to resize for dpc.

I'm sure it's the road twisting, but it appears that the photo needs to be leveled up.
