cool idea but I feel the frame and the hand could be sharper or more in focus.

I like that the tree is out of focus. That makes it look like a painting, of sorts, and makes the frame look more focus. I also like the way the frame is tilted. I think a tighter crop would make it a stronger photo, though. Lighting also seems a bit harsh. A fast shutter speed, if possible, might help.

I think I would have liked to see the DOF a little deeper so your "painting" was more in focus.

Far from using the photographic technique of framing. Just another shoehorn entry.

I really like this picture, in my opinion it's the best picture in this category based on fitting the theme. I really like the idea, and your title. I personally would have wished for a more stunning background, it seems like your capable of better. But great picture, I really like it.

If the tree and frame were in focus I think it would have been much better. Close your appeture more to achieve that.

i don't know..
although the image is great, i think i wouldnt take the 'framing' bit so literally. it's a matter of taste, really. because i really like what you've created here.

Great idea. I wish the frame (and hand) were a little more sharper. Still a great photo.8.

really cool idea, the only thing that i think would have helped this would have been if the tree was in focus, but that is just my opinion.

Not good that the focal point is blurry.

Needs more DOF, though at that distance it may not even be possible to keep the main subject inside the frame in focus. I'm not sure you wouldn't be better off letting the frame go out of focus for a sharp landscape inside.

This would have been a killer shot if the background had been in focus.

At first I wanted the DoF deeper, but I looked a minute and I think the shallow DoF works better for this photo.
