Growerby bladComment: Lots of great character in this face! Amazing detail. The nose appears to be a bit soft but otherwise, very nice PP. |

Mirepoixby AliciaComment: I can't get into your FaceBook page to read the story but I can comment on the image as it is. Obviously diced veggies, my favorite. Great colors and very healthy.. you're supposed to eat colorful foods and this is an excellent example. The blur kind of highlights the chopped celery at the top. I assume this is one of those power juicers which accounts for the movement. Looks very inviting ;-) |

Gullsby bobonacusComment: Nice number of gulls, very Feng Shui. Even the drippy poop adds something to the overall character of this image. Very earthy and ethereal. Well done. |

Welcome to my Nightmareby KelliComment: Years ago, there was a Freudian rumor circulating that a fear of snakes was a subconscious fear of the male genetalia. Well, I don't know if I agree with that because I've never seen a phallus w/fangs. These are obviously rattlers and they are to be avoided. As kids, we spent weekends at our parents' hunters cabin in Sinnamahoning, PA and were told adamantly to not stray too far from the cabin because we might get bit by a rattle snake. Of course, no one ever did but that was probably my only real fear of snakes. When I lived in High Point, NC, my cat cornered a Coppperhead and had its head pinned down on the ground with one paw. The neighbors, who had small children were amazed to see this and greatful that my cat was able to disable this venomous snake before one of the children encountered it. These days, the only snakes I see are the harmless garden variety, also called garter snakes, that live in rock piles as a natural habitat and come out to sun themselves when the weather is nice.
I like your closeup with the focus on the two heads. Very nice detail and color.

Early Birdby GermaineComment: Nice sky effect in this! Very dramatic, and the pelican carries it off superbly. I like the combination of colors, mauves and oranges, one of my favorite blends! It's very sensual ;-) |

Duo in Black and Whiteby scooter97Comment: That's the same pair of ducks I saw on the water. Excellent capture, Scott! You really nailed this one. I like the opposing wing movement and the subtle contrast of the red beaks/feet against the muted tones. Great movement in this and wonderful contrast of darks and lights. Very nicely done! |

Milton Dammby cryanComment: Is it the lower back? Because I know all about that little problem. Maybe take some ibuprofen to relax the muscles and relieve the pain. Muscles tend to seize up when you pull your back out. I hope you feel better soon.
Your dam scene is unique in that the water doesn't really look like water at all, it looks more like soap suds or foam. Maybe that's what it was? The image pulls me into those criss-cross bars although I don't think I'd want to go in there. It looks rather dangerous. I'm wanting to know what that sign says. The B/W works well for this. |
