Nice special effects! I had to look at this a few times before it actually sank in. Wasn't expecting Freddy Kruger to show up.. there's a spooky/scary theme and it isn't even Halloween? I think you definitely nailed this! It's dynamic and the PP is exceptional. Go for it! ;-)

Very interesting characterization! I think you could have cropped off some of the top, at least down to the bottom of the roof line, and it would still look dynamic.. perhaps even more so because the primary focus is in the face. Nice hue and excellent detail. Very well done.

I've tried to shoot gnarly old trees too because they have so much great character but you really nailed this one. The lighting must have been just perfect for you because not only did you capture the detail in the foreground, you managed to bring out all the fine details in the branches which really makes this image pop! Absolutely stunning!

I'm always amazed at white crayons, could never quite figure out what to do with them unless you're using colored paper. This is exquisite! I think the closeup and the dynamic angle of the shot really makes this work. My eyes go directly to the orange crayon which is the center of focus. You could have titled this 'orange makes the grade'.

Marion, how nostalgic it must be for you to look at this. I'm amazed at how much family history has evolved in this side challenge of images. It's like a tribute to our past, present and future. This is simply wonderful from the detail in the old doors to the amazing light seeping thru the cracks and openings, as if something bright and cheerful wants to flood the interior of this old shed. At least you have these memories to look back on.

Kind of primitive with an interesting sense of symmetrical design. Three trees = Feng Shui. I really like that wonderful bluish tint that comes out of the branches! Curious to see what you do next ;-)

Good title, made me smile. You off-centered it which is visually correct with the opposing lines. Great detail in the chains! I'm wondering if that's to keep someone out or someone from coming in. Hmm.. who lurks behind the chained doors? Kind of an eerie scenario ;-)

Now, this looks more like something eerie, only I can't quite tell what it is. I think it needs maybe one tiny identifying detail to make it more interesting. Otherwise, it's a good combination of shapes and graduation of tones.

Soon as I saw the title I had to chuckle, even before the image loaded. Actually, she's way too pretty to be a poltergeist. I would have probably called this 'sympathetic stare'. It's adorable!

Roz, this is beautifully done. I think the way her face fades in and out of the darkness is supurb. It's almost as if she is watching over you. You handled this very very well. The balancing whites against the deep dark hues and the gentle script at the bottom are all tributes to her memory.
