Controled Crashby wburginComment: You are much more patient that I am. I hope you didn't have to sit all day waiting on this photo! This is an intriguing photo. To create a higher level of 'visual impact' with this shot, I would have attempted to zoom tighter or possibly crop much tighter around this bird. I also realize that this photo can't be recreated at will and I commend your choice of subject for this challenge! |

Still Waters Bubblingby KL1864Comment: This is a nice fountain. I can also see the stopped motion here. I'm trying to find something that 'moves' me in this photograph. Technically, there is very little wrong with it. Visually, I'm struggling with it. I can't really offer you any suggestions on how to improve this photo. The surrounding environment may be distracting me from the subject. Maybe I can't see enough detail of the stopped motion. The detail is lost in the distance. Keep up the good efforts! |

Candle in the windby yyyapComment: I saw this same phenomenon in the popcorn photo in this challenge. Your candle flame is absorbing the blue light from the rest of the image. I'm not sure that a candle flame is the best choice of subjects for a 'stopped motion' challenge. The composition of this photograph is nice. I'm not impressed with its association with 'stopped motion'. |

way homeby karutuneComment: It was a nice effort. I suppose that the car is "stopped motion" but the overall effect of the challenge display is lacking... |

walkin' aroundby mnewmanComment: He's moving alright... It's ashame that his left foot appears to have a little motion blur. Since the man walking is the subject of your photo, I would like to have seen him taking up much more of the frame. These cars need to be gone or be more dominant in the photo as well. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but are you shooting this photo through a window? I see two lines moving from the bottom top of this photo... The first one is in front of the man passing under his chin and the second is leaving from the rear corner of the SUV... both carry over into the grass. Are these possibly refelctions from inside the window? |

Shogunby drewmediaComment: I wanted to try this shot myself. Poverty keeps me out of the Japanese Steak Houses most of the time :) I do see motion blur in the (is that an egg or an onion?) and in the spatula. It is very difficult to shoot 'stoped motion' shots in dark conditions without a flash. Your camera senses the darkness and lengthens the exposure time accordingly. |

I won!!!!!!by tomazlComment: Billy Joe Bob is too close to the top of the frame but he is a talented acrobat. I think a little added focus and sharpness would contribute to this overall quality of this photograph. |
