I'm not sure I understand this image. maybe a fear of insomnia based on the title? I am going to give lots of lattitude on this challenge because i am sure that I don't understand the fear in a lot of photos this week... I'm not particularly inspired by this image however. This is definitely a neat photo... things that go 'bump' in the night were a fear for me as a child. The only improvement that I may suggest for this photo would have been to have a light of some sort behind the door for some added effect... I think you did an excellent job of creating the lighting for this photo. good work! = 8 - jmsetzler

Loneliness is a tough fear :) In this photo, the first critique that I have to offer is that is a bit over ezposed. Secondly, Since your subject is on the left side of the frame and looking to the left, there is a lot of dead space in the right half of the image. If your subject was facing towards the left or if she was positioned on the right side of the frame, the photo would be more appealing to me. If this doesn't make sense, send me a note and I'll try to explain it in a little more detail :) = 6 - jmsetzler

Fear of flying? :) Good job on leveling the horizon in this shot.. so many people seem to skew that somewhat on shots like this. I would love to see some more contrast between the sky and the ground... i don't know of a polarizer would work on your camera or not but it would probably improve the impact of this photo :) = 6 - jmsetzler
