Flag Was Still Thereby hardwaybetsComment: great shot :) I think it would be slightly stronger with the flag pole showing, but i'm still giving this a 10... stopped motion it may be, but motion is still dominating this image... great work :) - setzler |

Prince Crossingby NickrzComment: This is one of my favorite shots in this challenge... This looks like rear curtain sync flash and it did a wonderful job lighting up the reflective back of this train... good work :) = 10 - setzler |

Visions in Blueby YomiComment: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Jeremy, this is a great macro shot... I think th desaturation of everything but the blue works fairly well in this image. I don't believe there is really anything that I would change abou this image... One of the things that I do believe could be a problem here is the desaturation itself. You got several comments about the editing and how it was done legally. In my experience at DPC, I believe that the voter in general will score lower if they believe you have broken any rules. I can't remember if this photo got any DQ requests or not, but I believe that it did. It's unfortunate that a large number of people here don't have the understanding of what can and can't be done within the rules of the challenge. The modifications that you did do add some interest to the photo, IMO. In most cases, I try to avoid edits that could draw suspicion, no matter how simple they may be for this reason.
Keep up the great work :)

City Abstractby JakComment: I do like the abstract nature of this shot... i also like the contrast between the colors as well. I think the overall image may be a little dark. It appears to be a tad noisy as well... I do love the lines and patterns here though... good work :) - setzler |

Leading the Choirby crabappl3Comment: This is a nice portrait and the lighting and skin tones on your subject came out very well. The photo has a good candid quality to it, but I can't really find inspiration in this image as something with lasting impact... - setzler |
