good work with the color and the refraction in this image... i like your theme quite a bit... the only minor issue i have is the halos around the glass... I dunno if its coming from saturation or sharpening...

Hi Jonatan...

This photo meets the challenge without much effort... I can't say that I have much of a critique for you on it though... It looks like a decent photo that an insurance adjuster would possibly take :) I believe that the color desaturation to only blue probably does make this a better photo overall. Maybe you could have worked with some different angles and perspectives of some sort to create a more artistic piece somehow with this subject... The photo meets the challenge but there isn't much 'wow' factor in it for me...

Hi Inede...

This photo meets the challenge... the motorcycle is definitely transportation. I also understand your tie in with the title.

The overall image quality doesn't impress me in this particular shot... It feels too much like a simple snapshot with a particular bit of humor in it.

My problem, as personal as it may be, is that I look for photographs that have more artistic potential as something that I would hang on my wall. When it comes to religious humor, I have to bite my tongue so that I don't take a chance on offending anyone or saying anything that I would regret.

I could discuss the technical aspects of this photo, but I think they have been hit on in your challenge comments already...

Hi Photochix....

The challenge is met nicely with this photo... I particularly liked some of the images in this challenge that took alternative paths from the 'normal' modes of transportation that everyone would normally think about.

I think you did a good job of composing the legs/feet on the right hand side of the frame... that definitely works better than centering in a horizontal frame. I think this photo could also potentially be strong with centered legs/feet in a vertical frame, allowing the feet to fall on the bottom horizontal third line...

I think this composition could use a little color also... The skin tone of the legs stand out nicely, but if there was some other element of color here, i think it would benefit the image. Maybe some colored socks or something would create that little surprise element that makes the photo really jump.

I also think the shoe may be a little close to the bottom of the frame for comfort... A little extra breathing room there could strengthen the composition as well...

nice work :) the dirty finger and the dirrt under the fingernails bring out the kid theme in this photo nicely... that was good thinking to plan that out because kids always have dirty hands :)
