excellent job with the lighting in this shot... the 'definitions' are nicely highlighted and the texture created by that works well. I'm wondering if a stronger 'diagonal' theme with the arms woudl also work nicely in this shot.

I hate it when this situation comes up for me... To me, this is what i would call 'digital art' moreso than photography. Normally, I don't care much for digital art, but it's probably because I'm simply more of a 'purist' photographer. I have always been one who looks for the photographic quality and themes when judging an image on this site. I must say that this is one of the first images I have seen that really falls into the digital art category for me that I'm really impressed by overall. I'm assuming that this is a composite image simply because I don't see (easily) any other way to do it. What I also see here is some very creative use/combination of photography and digital art to create your 'vision' for this piece. I'm impressed and moved by this image at the same time. Kudos on some good work :) = 10

I like this composition quite a bit, especially with the tandem shadow... that works really nicely in this image. I understand your intention with the low key on this shot, but I think the overall impact of the shot could be even stronger with a greater overall tonal range in the image... This is still a very strong shot.. don't get me wrong :) The only thing I see here that I would have possibly 'fixed' would be the glimmer on the ring on the hand. It creates just a bit of sharp contrast in that part of the photo that doesn't really serve a specific purpose to me. Excellent work :)

This is a beautiful capture... I simply love the silhouetted peoplein the foreground of this shot... It reminds me quite a bit of Gordon's 'bellagio' submission a while back in that aspect... I also think your choice of a duotone in this image also works very well... great shot... = 10
