Convex Portalby TarbiniComment: I have been waiting several days to post a comment on this photo... It's my favorite photo of the challenge and I can't really put my finger on WHY. I believe it's in the simplicity of the image. The monochromatic theme... the square frame with the abstract distortion in the mirror. All I can say is 'excellent work' :) = 10 |

Circle Star Saluteby MeccaComment: i can't say much about this shot other than 'phenomenal'. I love the motion here and you captured it at the perfect time it seems. That motion seems to create a beautiful sense of surrealism and 'ghostliness' in this photo... great shot and one of my favs this week :) = 10 |

Still Roundby ToddhComment: This is gorgeous... I think you nailed the exposure on this shot.. i can still see detail inside the bowl. The simplicity of the subject in this photo is definitely one of the strong points of the shot... great work.. = 10 |

golf ballby jimmyn4Comment: The concept behind this photo is quite strong and the idea is good. I don't traditionally thing of golf balls as having a yellow tint. This is probalby cause by white balance issues and could be corrected rather easily also. This image should probably also be sharp instead of out of focus. I can't see how the choice to make this soft focus is really helping the image. |

Be gentle -- first subby sn4psh07Comment: Interesting photo and poor title. "Pandering" in the title is sure to get you in trouble. I think this is the beginning of a good photo. The lighting isn't working.. looks like an on cam flash probably. Natural lighting may not have been possible, and if so, maybe a different subject choice would have worked out better for you... |

I Have Round Spots On My Wingsby GallatinComment: This is a beautiful photo... I really don't like the title though... I feel like you are trying to tell me how the photo meets the challenge when it meets it very clearly to me... |

Somnolenceby ToddhComment: excellent job with the lighting in this shot... the 'definitions' are nicely highlighted and the texture created by that works well. I'm wondering if a stronger 'diagonal' theme with the arms woudl also work nicely in this shot. |

Aquariusby NatashaComment: I hate it when this situation comes up for me... To me, this is what i would call 'digital art' moreso than photography. Normally, I don't care much for digital art, but it's probably because I'm simply more of a 'purist' photographer. I have always been one who looks for the photographic quality and themes when judging an image on this site. I must say that this is one of the first images I have seen that really falls into the digital art category for me that I'm really impressed by overall. I'm assuming that this is a composite image simply because I don't see (easily) any other way to do it. What I also see here is some very creative use/combination of photography and digital art to create your 'vision' for this piece. I'm impressed and moved by this image at the same time. Kudos on some good work :) = 10 |
