Apple Coreby dsidwellComment: In my opinion, the color shifting in this image isn't really adding much to the impact of the photo. It creates something 'different' but I am having trouble understanding or finding the purpose in it. Maybe shifting to a darker color that created more contrast would be interesting. |

SUNby SamaraComment: This is an interesting filter effect, but the photo doesn't appeal to me subjectively. The filter is the main point of interest here rather than the scene itself. |

The Midnight Thiefby PaulkComment: Excellent shot... The fox is a beautiful creature. This is also a great subject for 'exposed'. It's rare that I see a fox in my area, but they do exist. I see one occasionally crossing my driveway as I come in late at night sometimes... |

"Conspiracy"by tfarrell23Comment: The glasses add a nice touch here. I also like the subtle shadow behind the right lens. Nice work :) |

Buried for Almost 300 Million Yearsby Darter02Comment: The subject choice here is quite interesting. The overall compositoin feels a bit flat though. Maybe some creative lighting or a different angle on the shot would help improve that somewhat. Composing on a smaller part of this scene to bring out that detail could also be an interesting improvement. |

Peeling Paintby KonadorComment: Good use of shallow depth of field here to isolate your subject. I don't know if it was possible or not, but recomposing to include the entire burgandy part of this gate part could have been nice. Not knowing what's below that makes it difficult to suggest :) |

Acorn - exposedby fsieradzkiComment: Good job using lighting to create some extra effect on this macro. The detail here is excellent. When working with macros, you have to pay extra close attention to the finer detail like that small spot just off the left edge of the top shadow. It's a minor thing but it shows up with more strength in a closeup photo. |

Newborn toesby tyrkinnComment: Interesting compisition. The textures here are quite nice. This photo could possibly make an interesting black and white as well. |

Inside my video tapeby heidaComment: Well done photo... the lighting is creating some interest, but the overall subject choice doesn't particularly interest me. The sharpness also seems to fade off a bit towards the right side of the image. I can't see any particular benefit to not having this entire photo in focus. |
