This photo doesn't really appear to meet the challege in my opinion. It is a 'christmas' photograph, but it os not really a decoration. I don't find anything particularly tacky or gaudy about it. It is out of focus as well. I don't know if this was your intent, but it does add some amount of an interesting mood. My overall opinion of this photo is that it is subjectively weak for use in a challenge here.

I am finding it difficult to provide in depth critiques on the photos in this challenge. I think the primary objective in this challenge was humor, which I find difficult to critique on any level. Your photo is well executed.

I think you did a great job with this shot. The exposure looks good and the composition is also nice. The color of the shirt contrasts very nicely with the dark background.

As far as the challenge is concerned, I think you simply suffered from lack of action. As you are aware, meeting the challenge is a subtle way doesn't usually get you very far.

Greetings... Your border here feels a bit odd... This photo meets the challenge but it is, overall, not sharp enough for my taste, and there is no particular point of interest. It may have some abstract quality that could be appealing to some.
