Not sure I'm buying the yellow tint, but this certainly conveys solitude and peace. A newly fallen snow, in a world of muted sounds, a tranquil feeling, free from fear and strife. The yellow tint does lend an air of other-worldliness to the image.

No, Jesus didn't even portray it as that nice. Nice communication of a wrech, a sham, an imitation, something that is not as it should be. It almost looks like a disapproving face.

The Parting Waters

Great sky and waters. Not sure I'm buying the beard - looks too fake (shiny). And what are the 10 commandments doing in the scene? Moses packing them along just in case they might come in handy later? I do like that you have Moses with white hair (he was at least 80 at the time of the Exodus). I also like that the path through the sea is fairly wide - not just a trail. It must have been fairly wide for Pharaoh to think he could drive his army's chariots through it. The lighting is very nice.
