What a fun shot! I suggest you try a crop of the just to the right of the stop sign, giving the shot symmetry with the phone posts (rather than having the extra one fore left) and losing the stop sign. I think this would give more the idea of chasing down the road after the balloon, and get the balloon out of horizontal dead center as a bonus. Your clouds are great, and I love the late afternoon (I presume - could be early morning, but...) sun. Focus seems like it could be a bit sharper. Some will probably complain about shoehorning the shot in with the title...

The lower left die being different, and - I'm guessing - clear distracts from the shot. Great blue background. Nice work at keeping down the glare / reflections (again, except that bottom left die, but even that isn't too bad).

No features on the head, and the tree, though a very strong element, is out of focus. The back of the bird is too dark. I too like the deep blue, but it just isn't enough to overcome the other shortcomings, IM-NSH-O.

I'm with sulamk on the tail. Even so, this is very nice. Love the lighting on the head and breast, the details in the feathers, the position of his head, the blurred background that brings out the tan in the feathers. Very, very nice.
