the little sled and the mittens are precious..i think the rest of the composition really clutters up the shot and it would have been more effective and emotive without the other elements. Also, the lighting is making it seem cold and flat..was this onboard flash? Just curious.

love the colours, and the message. But I think the shot is dwarfed by the border. I understand its a poster challenge, but you want the beautiful bird to be the centre of attention, not the heavy dark border. Perhaps something lighter would have complimented the subject better. Other than that, I like the focus and the composition quite a bit. Its tight with the attention in all the right places.

why not just focus on one or two bottles? I think so many bottles in one shot really compete for attention and detract from the theme and emotion of the shot.

why all the haze? I think it really takes away from the emotion of your shot. Did you also try this in bw? Might really have added to the feel (and scent) of it.

i think this would be a lot nicer if it were a bit brighter/had more light on it. Seems somewhat underexposed to me...the colours just aren't popping..they seem mired in shadow.

why put the lemons that are out of the frame in a bowl? I think just on the paper near the plate would be a much more elegant composition. :) I like the plate you have chosen too, but I think something is off about the colours..the yellows are looking a bit greeny and not as vibrant as they could be.
