I really liked this shot. What makes it good for me is the sense of scale. The really tiny figure is placed near the edge where he is almost lost in the great landscape, but you've used leading lines to great affect so that people don't miss him (or her!). The composition works very well overall.

I do think that the photo itself looks a bit washed out, especially against the heavy black border. I think you should have maybe decreased the brightness a tiny bit, and increased the contrast, to get the whites whiter too. Other than that I can't fault the photo.

The quote fits the photo very well but I think it's placement makes the bottom of the frame look too crowded. I think it would have helped to have an equal gap between the quote and the photo, and the quote and the bottom. To make more room, moving the photo up to have the top of the frame smaller wouldn't have hurt. In fact, the bottom of borders are quite commonly bigger than the top. I think A light grey would have worked better than white too, so that so much attention wasnt brought away from the great photo.

I love this shot and the phrase!
I do not like the wide black border.
Had the making for a great poster otherwise.
But that is minimal in my voting.

You got this one right! Bold frame sets off the photo. Only suggestion - I would have done something different with the title (all caps, different font?) since you use the word in the quote it needs to stand out a bit more. 10

Great in showing how to get somewhere. This is motivational (although mountains are becoming cliche). This worked really well. If the person was a little more identifiable. The line leads to him, but you have to really recognize that he's there.

The framing feels a bit off... otherwise, beautiful and meaningful shot.

our guy is just a wee bit too small to be very noticeable, but I like the leading lines and the formidableness of the journey he's on. Works very well.

A beautiful entry for this challenge. I like the wide border and thin white line around the photo and intersecting the keyword. Very nice job.

Great photo - very crisp and well composed.
Typography is too low in the frame and tight to the edge.

Great image but the border seems to over power a bit I like this

Beautiful picture and very well laid out poster. Love everything about this. I can see this hanging in just about any school or work place. I maybe would have moved the photo just a bit more toward the top moving the wording up just a bit so that the top and bottom were a little more evenly spaced but this is just personal preference. It really is awesome as is. Good luck with the challenge!!!

A good idea and nice photo, but this doesn't appear to be a very difficult hike so overall the concept isn't powerful enough. I'd consider making the title larger.

If the guy is closer to the camera, it'll have a better impact, also, if you view him from a even lower angle (i.e. if he's close you can do that), it'll increase the impact more. 6

Very good poster. Great image and good fit between text and image. (Not perfect match : The height is not unimaginable yet, still modest hills and a tree in the landscape, I guess you did not have time to visit the Everest last week....)

The text really fits the theme of the photo. This photo would have been great in b&w as it has very little colour in it. But the sky is kind of nice too. Did you use hight speed film? It appears a bit grainy on the darker portions of the photo. But I still like it a lot.

Excellence! The picture and your message are so fitting. The picture itself is beautifully done ... with the diagonals leading to the person who seem to be very determined to reach the peak. Well done!
