Public Transportby LarsPaysenComment: I'll probably be in the minority here, but I like your choice of angle on this, and the fact that the man's stoic face is still, while the elements around him are moving. I wouldn't say the main subject was the train that's more in the background, but I won't ding ya for not being "strictly about transportation! If you could have gotten his fact a little sharper, and perhaps less blown out setting sunlight I think this would be one dynamite and creative shot! |

Loading or Unloadingby ChezComment: I think a quick little USM would probably have fixed the focus problem here, and perhaps a slightly different angle on your subject would have lit up that dark right side so we could get all the details of the ship. :) |

Never Againby JonatanComment: fabulous colour! You took a very unique perspective on both the challenge and your subject. :) I like your choice of crop/composition. The inclusion of the hood makes it fairly clear we're looking at one busted up ride! |

mini transportationby AllenComment: bit grainy with too much of a "snapshot" feel to it. The elements in the background are huge and similar in colour and tone to the subject so are very distracting. |

Not Movingby DougPazComment: seems a bit too sharp, which detracts from the "old" sort of feel you might have wanted to get from shooting a rusted out old truck. Good choice of subject though. :) |

Evening Tollsby rascalComment: whoa.. looking at this make me actually feel like I'm moving! If that was what you were going for, mission accomplished for sure, there is a great sense of movement in this picture. My only outstanding desire is that some point of the picture be in perfect focus, just so we can feel we have something we're concentrating on..(if nothing else, than to help with the motion sickness! ;) |

Funicular Tramwayby MitonskiComment: Very neat view on this, and the colours on the trams are nice and dark. I would have cropped more of the sea out just so that all attention would be on the trams and we'd feel even more like we're in one of them about to roll down that very steep hill! |

On Your Mark...by pupparazzoComment: Very creative idea. My only two nits are: the paw is in sunshine and the foot in the shade, and the foot itself looks too purple. Did you try this with the feet on other surfaces too, maybe which are less busy than grass? :) |

Ghost Tramby tzsoltComment: wow, this is a great application of what could have been a very tired technique. I really like the lights you captured "through" your ghost tram, good choice of location and composition. |

The extravagance of yesterday's commercial waterwaysby jjbeguinComment: oh the gunk at the bottom of the bridge column must have been so frustrating for you! I really like this location, I know you probably made sure there was some sort of "vehicle" in the picture to make it very clear that this was an appropriate submission for the transportation challenge, but when you get the chance (if you do) take a picture of this without anything going across. Its beautiful, and I love the colouring you've done, your perspective and the detail you have captured. |
