Self-Trepanationby violinist123Comment: Good idea and very sharp picture, but to be believable it would be better to break the bit in half to make it appear it was embedded in the skull. Figuring a way to show motion in the drill bit would further improve it, but that could be dangerous. |

Nothing but netby jparisiComment: I'm confused...this is a net. Also the picture is not very clear and it takes a while to pick out the spider. Taken from below the background may be better. |

Catching Airby nickdayComment: Nice shot, but I would recommend a lower angle showing him over the lip of the pool and get rid of the RIDGID box in back that distracts from the shot. |

no net, just concreteby BlaineBuddyComment: I'm having trouble figuring out what he is doing. It almost looks like he is standing at the back of the floor, but I think he's really in the air closer to us. What activity is he doing? It looks like he's just hopping into the air. OK, I finally figured out the skateboard. Jumping on a garage floor isn't especially thrilling. I'd recommend the scene be changed to an empty pool, a railing, or half-pipe. The background here is far too distracting. Additionally the guy is chopped by the top of the frame. |

Icarusby AnnComment: Torrey Pines glider port? Nice silouette against great evening reflections with good cloud formations from the remnants of Hurricane Dean. |

The Last Step is a Doozyby SandyPComment: I love the title. What is that, water flying off his shoes? His upper body looks dry, but this doesn't look like his first take on it. The expression and body position is great. He looks like a cook (apron) that has had it with whatever he was doing. The suspenders is a cool touch; I wonder where this was taken, Europe? Good creatively, technically, and meets the challenge. 8 |

1by eamurdockComment: I love these acts in Cirque de Soliel (for example). As with some others I'd like to see more than 3 feet below her to show the potentially dangerous situation, and normally they do much more risky moves without hands, upside down that would more show working without a net. |

Risky Businessby elizadebComment: This could be really good, but other than the structure indicating a large building I can't tell the guy is more than 3 feet from the ground. I'd like to see much more space below him but with him still highly noticeable. |

Hangin' Outby visionistComment: Good answer to challenge, but the person is so tiny between the platform and the building. I'm wondering if it would be bettern from much closer to the building and zoomed to show the person much larger with many tightly compressed floors below him. I get an interesting, strange effect when I scroll up/down on this, like the picture is zooming. |

Love Unrequitedby figaroComment: This picture would make no sense without the title, looking like a guy thinking, crying, praying, peeking, or something. Good placement in the frame, but I'd like to see his right shoulder. It appears his face is noisy, but I think that's just his complexion. |
