Location: Sea World of San Antonio
Date: Aug 26, 2007

Date Uploaded: Aug 26, 2007

This was taken at Sea World as part of the Sea Lion show. I absolutely had NO ideas for this challenge and wasn't planning on entering. Then, when we were at Sea World, I watched the antics in this show and thought, "Hmmmm. . . .mayyyyyybe", so this was the one and only photo I took with this challenge in mind. I wasn't expecting it to do anything for me, but once I edited it, it grew on me and I liked it.

I got the slightly vintage effect by messing with the shadow/highlights feature in Photoshop CS2.

I was wondering how you caught someone plummeting off the second story. Nice capture and processing Sandy. What a fun pic.

Blimey Sandy is there nothing you cant turn your hand too. Daisy and I had simultaneously laughed out loud and taken a sharp inhalation of breathe when we had seen this shot

May not be one of your ribbon winners but fantastic nonetheless

Good composition, and I really like his expression. I hope no humans were hurt in the making of this photo:-)

I love the humour in this shot. I laughted out loud when I first saw it. I think you've done a great job with a somewhat awkward composition. The graininess in the lower part of the shot is a great foil for the smoothness and detail of the rest of the photo. Hope it does well for you.

Is this shot from some sort of stage show, like movie world or something similar. Not sure if the grain effect is part of the processing or part of the actual background. Needs some curves adjustment to bring out some pop. Good luck

Very clever but looks like a painful end!!

I love the title. What is that, water flying off his shoes? His upper body looks dry, but this doesn't look like his first take on it. The expression and body position is great. He looks like a cook (apron) that has had it with whatever he was doing. The suspenders is a cool touch; I wonder where this was taken, Europe? Good creatively, technically, and meets the challenge. 8

Lol nice expresson! Don´t really dig the red bottom part and the texture there and also in his pant´s, looks like you totally overdid it with something like photomatrix or shadow/highlights.

Nice capture - Like the composition and pose - Maybe just a tad tight to make us feel he is falling into or away from danger though.
